WE ARE HERE TO HELP
VISION:
Improve the health and well-being of Franklin County residents.

MISSION:
Ensure Franklin County residents have transportation to access non-emergency services.

ABOUT US:
Nestled in the picturesque Blue Ridge foothills, Franklin County, Virginia, is one of the commonwealth's fastest-growing counties. Our small, vibrant communities deeply value their farms, forests, pristine waters, and rich cultural heritage.
As of the 2020 census, our population stood at 54,477, and we're proud of the close-knit atmosphere that defines our home. Like many growing areas, we've identified some key community needs, particularly concerning transportation and health.
Recent Carilion Clinic Community Health Assessments highlight that in 2020, 6% of Franklin County households did not have a motor vehicle, a figure that rises to over 8% in our central county areas. From a health perspective, assessments show that in 2021, 22.3% of adults reported poor or fair health, and by 2024, residents experienced approximately four physically unhealthy days per month.
Additionally, among our Medicare population in 2020, 27% of individuals in the Franklin County area were affected by kidney disease. We are committed to addressing these challenges and continually working to enhance the well-being and quality of life for all Franklin County residents.
To that end, our focus on non-emergency transportation will fill an important gap for people in Franklin County, Virginia.
